Job Overview

• This role offers an exciting opportunity for a night security professional to lead and manage a team of security officers across 4 locations in London on one account.
• The account offers different security functions in terms of Control Room, Loading bay, Reception, Events and Patrolling.
• The role is night based Monday to Thursday, 12hr shifts.

Main Duties

• To be overall responsible for the day-to-day operation of Security including Events on site

• Focus on standarisation of security delivery across the account

• Responsible for the managing of the team's performance and development
• Develop teamwork and good working ethos ensuring high morale through effective motivational methods.

• Continually raise the competencies of all Security Teams across the contract through training platforms, assessments, coaching and mentoring
• Be first management response for all Out of Hours incidents across all sites
• Be responsible for Out of Hours operational needs across all sites

• Responsible for all scheduling across the account
• Conducting regular security assessments, audits and site visits to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
• Conduct your own recruitment including inductions for new staff.
• Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.
• Fostering a culture of security awareness amongst the team
• Lead, train and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Investigate security breaches, incidents and violations, document findings and implement corrective actions.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2 years Managerial experience
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence holder
• CCTV Licence holder
• Incident Management experience
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance
• Excellent Communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to work with little supervision and ability to make dynamic decisions
• IT literate
• Be innovative and have a can-do attitude
