Position: Security Supervisor
Hours: Full-Time, 60 hours per week
Pay: £13.97 per hour
Shifts: Tuesdays to Saturdays

Location: M&S Manchester, Market Street
Experience Required: Supervisory experience in security

Role Overview:

As a Security Supervisor, your main responsibility will be overseeing and guiding the Security team at M&S Manchester, making sure our customers and assets are protected at all times. You'll drive excellence in service delivery and work hand-in-hand with the team to ensure safety protocols are followed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Security Officer team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Act as the first point of contact for security personnel, ensuring that dress code, conduct, and discipline are maintained to the highest standards.
• Deliver exceptional training and induction for new Security Officers, ensuring they're up-to-date with site policies, procedures, and security systems.
• Promote teamwork and high morale within the team using effective motivation and leadership skills.
• Assist with investigations into any security concerns (e.g. thefts, missing items).
• Liaise with customers and clients as needed to provide outstanding service and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and data protection regulations.
• Maintain accurate security logs and handovers to ensure clear communication across shifts.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven Security & Supervisory Experience: You have a track record of leadership in a security role and are ready to take on greater responsibility.
• SIA License: Essential for the role.
• Strong Communication Skills: You'll need to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers and various security software.
• Self-Motivated & Reliable: You work well independently and can inspire your team to follow suit.
