We are seeking an experienced Specialist Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This role involves leading and managing a team of cleaning operatives, overseeing specialized cleaning projects including pressure washing, kitchen deep cleaning, and external cladding cleaning. The successful candidate will be skilled in using Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) and will ensure that all cleaning activities are carried out efficiently and safely.

• Key Responsibilities
• Supervision: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards and within set deadlines.
• Pressure Washing: Oversee and participate in pressure washing tasks for various surfaces, including building facades, patios, and walkways.
• Kitchen Deep Cleaning: Supervise and assist in the deep cleaning of commercial kitchens, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• External Cladding Cleaning: Manage and perform cleaning of external building cladding, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain surfaces.
• MEWP Operation: Safely operate and supervise the use of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms for high-level cleaning tasks, following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards and client expectations.
• Training: Train and guide new team members, particularly in the use of specialized equipment and adherence to safety regulations.
• Health and Safety: Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE and completion of risk assessments for each project.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in specialist cleaning, including pressure washing, kitchen deep cleaning, and working at heights.
• Experience as a supervisor or team leader in a cleaning or maintenance environment.
• MEWP certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, especially related to working at heights and using cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and industrial cleaning tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and high-level work.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
