Job Title:  Mobile Security Supervisor  
Location: London - Mobile  
Salary:      £14.85PH + Bens 

Please note this role requires NPPV & CTC vetting 

Job Overview 

  • To assist the company in delivering and maintaining the integrity of the security service provided to the client which entails the prevention, detection and protection of the client's property, personnel and visitors from harm, damage, or endangerment. 
  • To provide supervisory support to security officers working on multiple locations within London conducting quality assurance checks, welfare visits, performance reviews and supporting incident management and investigations. 
  • To ensure that our teams are maintaining the safety of all work colleagues, authorised contractors, the client's employees, and members of the public at the location. 

Main Duties 

  • To provide supervisory support to frontline colleagues across multiple sites within London to ensure that they have the relevant documentation, skills, knowledge and tools to carry out their duties. 
  • Regular liaison with the security team on site through regular visits to ensure security operations run in accordance with site rules, regulations along with current management and client instructions. 
  • Ensure all team members are familiar with Assignment Instructions, SOP's, policies, procedures, and site-specific documentation. 
  • Ensure delivery of all patrols, reporting standards and requirements within the agreed timescale as per the Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Ensure delivery of a prompt and adequate response to incidents at any of the client's premises in line with Company procedures and contractual requirements together with the compilation of incident reports.  
  • Ensure all customer complaints are captured, documented and where possible satisfactorily resolved and escalated through the Operational Chain of Command. 
  • Ensure familiarity with all equipment required for the delivery of service especially in relation to CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, uniforms, torches, and personal protective equipment (PPE).  
  • Promote document, company, and client contract compliance, providing support and guidance to ensure that a safe and secure working environment is always maintained.  
  • Ensure familiarity with the Company Handbook, policies, and procedures.

  • Ensure familiarity of all relevant legislation required for the role i.e., DSE, GDPR etc. 
  • Liaise with the Control Room on a day-to-day basis to discuss operational requirements. 
  • Carry out duties and always requested tasks effectively and professionally. 
  • Ensure that you and the teams have timely arrival prior to shift commencement to ensure a thorough handover/takeover of duties on post. 
  • Support the control room and operations managers where required to ensure that all colleagues are scheduled, and any gaps are covered. 
  • To understand and comply with the Statutory Disciplinary and Grievance procedures and HR policies and conduct disciplinary Investigations and attend grievance hearings where appropriate. 
  • Complete a reasonable management / client request in a timely manner. 

What are we looking for? 

Hold a minimum of an SIA Security Guarding Licence 

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in Security ideally with some supervisory experience. 
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance record in previous roles. 
  • Experience in a Customer focused environment and able to demonstrate strong customer service skills. 
  • Smart appearance and positive demeaner. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office package. 
  • Basic CCTV and Access Control Systems operational experience 
  • Attention to detail and precise recording of information along with experience of managing incidents and emergency situations. 
  • Understanding of investigation and disciplinary process 
  • A UK driving licence with a minimum of 3 years' experience. 
  • Must be over 21 years of age for vehicle insurance purposes. 
  • Being able to work under pressure and adapt to fluid developing situations. 
  • Have a good and positive teamwork ethic. 
  • Being pro-active. 
  • Having a flexible and adaptable attitude.
