As part of our growing Engineering family, we are looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to provide a building fabric maintenance and repairs service. The role sits within our Fabric team and provides full support across the whole of Heathrow Airport.
You will be responsible for delivering a building fabric service such as carpentry, painting and decorating, and patch repairs, minor roofing, carpet tiles, ceiling tiles amongst all other aspects of building fabric. Ideally you will have worked in the building services sector previously and have a good understanding and able to carry out fabric repairs. You should be physically fit as the role does involve some manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces (when trained)
You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates,
The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, a trade scheme or served experience.
