Mitie Telecoms are looking for a Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Birmingham and the surrounding region.

What are the key role objectives?

As a  Electrical Engineer, you will carry out duties in compliance with Mitie Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures. Driving & promoting Mitie's One Code which is integral to our companies values and behaviours. Whilst  performing tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet both Client and Mitie expectations, at all times working compliantly within Health and Safety policy/legislation.

What are the main duties for the Multi Skilled Engineer?

To undertake routine Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on Telecoms sites. To undertake minor reactive maintenance work as necessary. To be part of a callout rota with additional remuneration. Work includes both “At Height” checks and ground level maintenance of cabin and compound. Assist the site team in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the site. Willing and able to work and stay away from home. Overtime weekend working may be required from time to time.

What does our ideal candidate look like?

To be successful, you  should be qualified in NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, such as C&G236 Part 1&2, C&G2357, BS7671, Electrical Regulations 18th Edition, C&G 2391-52 Electrical inspection and Testing. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to hold a full UK Driving License and be able to work at heights. 

Please note, all successful candidates, if not already qualified, will be put through training to reach an approved standard to work safely at height and/or on climbable structures.

Due the climbing requirement of the role, all employment is subject to passing a medical assessment that we will arrange in advance.
