Distribution centre Security Supervisor
Location: Enfield
60 Hours per Week
£13.36Ph
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising security operations at the distribution centre to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities.
- Leading and managing a team of security officers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Implementing security procedures and protocols to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Conducting regular patrols and inspections of the distribution centre premises to identify and address security risks.
- Responding promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and coordinating with law enforcement agencies as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to security activities, incidents, and personnel.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the security industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of security officers effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with team members, clients.
- Knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices, particularly within a distribution centre or warehouse environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in using security equipment and technology, including CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
