Pay Rate: £13.60
Position Type: Permanent.
Contract Type: Full Time.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for an experienced working team leader to work with and to manage a small team, including development of staff to maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer on a production site. 

Main Duties

You'll be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing training as and when required.

 Duties will include but not limited to the following:

Monitor and order stock

Carry out briefings and tool box talks

Deal with issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate.

Report hazards

Carry out Audits

Check documentation on a daily basis

Complete weekly planners 

Engage and work with staff to ensure excellent standards are maintained

Person Specification:

The Ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience. They should have good communication skills, be reliable hardworking with a professional attitude and be able to work on their own initiative. They will fully understand the colour coding/COSHH & Risk Assessments and have the IT ability to enable them to carry out the role. The candidate will understand the organisations goals and objectives and bring these to life in their teams daily activities. They can demonstrate forward thinking/planning and have a positive and can-do attitude to meet the needs of the business as well as effectively plan and manage work loads, however, understands when to ask for support when needed. This candidate will also have good decision making skills, will represent Mitie and the client always in a professional, courteous  and confident manner, and be a team player with the ability to lead by example through operational excellance, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels.
