CDM Manager
BAE Systems - Preston, Full Time
As a CDM Manager, you will be operationally responsible ensuring that Mitie are fulfilling and discharging legal obligations under the CDM 2015 regulations with regards to the planning, managing, monitoring and co-ordinating of health and safety , ensuring projects are carried out without risk to health and safety of workers or others who may be affected by ongoing works, providing guidance, advice and supporting the Projects team through all RIBA stages with regard to CDM as necessary.
You will be covering multiple sites across the region and will therefore be required to travel to multiple sites as well as occasional overnight stays.
Other duties will include formally agreeing and confirming the scope of the Principal Designer and/or CDM services with the client on a project-by-project basis, advising and assisting the client where required in the appointments of designers and contractors.
