The Bid Director owns and co-ordinates the bid process; starting with capture, tender all the way to bid outcome. The role will also own strategic off-market extension of agreed key accounts. They'll build the right bid team with the relevant skills and knowledge required to win. This is a networked role that needs someone who can work under pressure and to stretching deadlines. Another key aspect of the role is to create and maintain relationship maps for the key IFM accounts. These will include both internal and external stakeholders. This is to maximise the potential for off-market extensions, extra scope and more business. They'll create and manage plans with the Account Directors for extension and retention activity.
