Job Title: Apprentice - Building Services
Salary: £16,000-23,000 per annum
Position Type: Fixed Term Contract

As an Apprentice at Mitie, you'll be at the core of what we do, making a real impact from day one. You will learn essential skills in areas like heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems, and maintenance. You'll assist with both planned routine maintenance and reactive repair tasks, collaborating with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience. Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards will be a key focus, making safety and sustainability a priority in every task. As part of the apprenticeship, you will be enrolled in a Level 3 Building Services Engineering Qualification, which typically takes three years to complete. You will be fully supported throughout this process with 1-2-1 advice, e-learning materials, and access to a team of experts for advice and technical knowledge at your office.

To succeed, you should have a keen interest in your chosen field, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a commitment to completing the apprenticeship and growing within Mitie. GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4-9 or equivalent) or Scottish National 5 certificates (Grade A-C) are required, and certificates must be provided during the interview. If you don't have prior experience, that's not a problem—enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key, and we'll provide all the tools you need to succeed.

You should have an interest and passion for your chosen apprenticeship pathway, enjoy problem solving and getting practical, hands on experience, committed to learning and completing studies in your chosen pathway. It is mandatory for the candidate to Maths and English Level 4-9 or equivalent/ Scottish National 5 certificates grade A to C and you should be able to provide certificates at interview.
