We're looking for a Workplace Assistant to support the delivery of an exceptional workplace experience within a professional services environment, acting as a key ambassador for both Mitie and our client while ensuring operational excellence, outstanding service, and a welcoming workplace for colleagues, clients, and visitors. 


Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver workplace and soft services across the site, ensuring all environments are maintained to a professional, safe, and welcoming standard.
  • Manage workplace issues and work orders through internal systems, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting corrective actions where required.
  • Support workplace initiatives, office moves, onboarding activities, communications, and employee engagement events.
  • Collaborate with internal service teams and external suppliers to deliver a seamless, world-class workplace experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within workplace, facilities management, hospitality, customer service, or corporate environments.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role:

  • Good level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing or workplace support role
