GSOC- EMEA Training Coordinator

The GSOC-EMEA Training Coordinator will report to the GSOC-EMEA Training Program Manager and is responsible for building, delivering, recording, and tracking of training for the GSOC teams that include Core, Travel, and Data Centre.

In addition, the GSOC-EMEA Training Coordinator will be in charge of proactively testing and verifying training to ensure that each program is effective in transferring information to the team and that all team members are kept up to date with changes in protocols and procedures. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in day-to-day operations as required
  • Ensure that all services are performed in a professional and uniform manner by all team members
  • Take an active role in position related projects. The levels of responsibility will vary from consulting to owning projects based on the individual.
  • Provide direct training and oversight of training programs
  • Assist the Training Program Manager in any large scale drills
  • Responsible for training of the Noticeboard and anyone 1-2-1 Training
  • Assisting with Team development via the Step Up program
  • Creating and tracking individual training profiles
  • Apprenticeship management 
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Collaboration with other trainers and departments (OAPI, OEG)
  • Attending any meetings related to training (potentially outside of working hours)

Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to contribute to analytical planning, critical review and problem solving.
  • Ability to build strategic vision and drive organizational change. 
  • Strong organization and planning skill with the ability to work in and define ambiguity/gray areas. 
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with ability to work as part of a team.  
  • Ability to work under stress and tight deadlines as well as the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficient in using IT
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Think through problems for logical solutions and remain calm and professional under stress. 
  • Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations. 
  • Able to work with highly confidential information. 
  • Experience in training.
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders. 

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development achieved or working towards. 
  • 2+ years of applicable experience in operations. 
  • Training planning, including theoretical knowledge of the training cycle.
