We are on the lookout for a dynamic, experienced Technical FM to manage and elevate our NRS sites to new heights! This is your chance to shine in a role that combines technical expertise, project management, and unparalleled customer service—all while embracing a 4-day work week that offers the perfect work-life balance!

Locations:
Hunterston Power Station, West Kilbride, KA23 9RA, with oversight management at Chapelcross Power Station, Annan, Dumfriesshire, DG12 6RF.

Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:15 PM. More time to enjoy life while delivering excellence!

As a  Technical Facilities Manager, you will lead a powerhouse of teams dedicated to achieving top-tier operational success across a diverse portfolio. Your mission? To ensure our service delivery is nothing short of extraordinary—overseeing everything from vital projects to essential hard and soft services, guaranteeing compliance and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring:

  • A proven track record in Hard Services as a Technical Facilities Manager, with hands-on experience managing internal team members and subcontractors in a demanding CPI/KPI environment.
  • Strong financial acumen that demonstrates your ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively, all while hitting financial targets.
  • A proven track record of managing large FM projects 
  • Exceptional audit process management skills, ensuring our operations shine like never before!

Your Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Building Services.
  • IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – minimum requirement.
  • A solid understanding of CDM Regulations.

Experience Matters:
You'll need to have a robust background in Technical FM, a deep understanding of operational and project delivery, and experience in a highly regulated, critical infrastructure setting. Your leadership will inspire your team and subcontractors alike!

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a knack for navigating CAFM systems.
  • Strong report writing and data analysis skills—your insights will drive operational excellence!
