ROLE: Small Works Coordinator
HOURS: 40 hours a week
LOCATION: Birmingham

We're looking for a Small Works Coordinator to join the DfT contract. This role is ideal for a candidate who shows a positive attitude towards challenges and enjoys a busy environment, supporting the contract in billing chargeable pieces of work.

If you possess strong administration skills gained from working within an M&E company or Facilities Management environment and enjoy planning, arranging and prioritising a wide range of tasks, this could be the role for you. Owning previous experience or an interest in FM and service delivery, you can demonstrate a high level of precision and customer focus. Due to the nature of the site, the successful candidate will need to pass a BPSS check prior to starting the role. 

Role Responsibilities:

• Assign billable pieces of work to the appropriate contractors or Regional Team and send relevant information to obtain estimates.
• Raise and submit quotations, answering queries raised by clients.
• Raise, revise and submit purchase orders.
• Instruct contractors and suppliers, ensuring HSE and compliant processes are followed.
• Instruct self-delivery jobs using the auto-scheduling system.
• Update and attach all required paperwork in order to close and bill works in a timely manner.
• Act as the preferred point of contact for a Region and conduct regular calls with operational teams and suppliers to manage job lists and updates.

Required Qualifications:

• Ideally possess customer service experience and demonstrate the ability to respond to and act on client requirements.
• Possess financial awareness, including raising quotations, purchase orders and reviewing invoices.
• Be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office and/or service request software.
• Knowledge of FM and similar software packages would be advantageous.
