ROLE: Shift Engineer - Electrical
HOURS: Full Time | 4 Days On, 4 Days Off, 4 Nights On, 4 Days Off
LOCATION: Liverpool

We're looking for a Shift Engineer - Electrical who will support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services within a healthcare environment, ensuring statutory compliance, operational reliability, and excellent customer service.

Role Responsibilities:

· Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance in accordance with contractual and statutory requirements.
· Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and undertake safe isolations across electrical systems and associated building services.
· Accurately record maintenance activities, compliance documentation, and work completion using CAFM/PDA systems.
· Ensure all works are completed in line with Health & Safety legislation, RAMS, QHSE standards, and Mitie's LiveSafe procedures.
· Work collaboratively with the wider estates team to maintain asset performance and support operational continuity within the healthcare facility.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

· City & Guilds 2360 Parts 2 & 3 (or equivalent Electrical qualification).
· NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or completion of a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
· 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
· City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent).
· Previous experience within a building services maintenance environment; healthcare or hospital experience is advantageous.
