At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and reactive maintenance activities across the contract.
  • Manage and monitor supply chain partners, ensuring appropriately qualified operatives are deployed and work is completed safely, efficiently and to agreed standards.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to identify maintenance requirements and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Build strong relationships with LRFCA stakeholders, providing technical support and representing Mitie at contract and site meetings.
  • Support contract compliance by maintaining accurate records, responding to audits, utilising MAXIMO systems and providing cover for the Contract Manager when required.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within Facilities Management or a similar environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of compliance processes such as Legionella and Asbestos management being advantageous.
  • NVQ qualification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or 17th/18th Edition certification is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the contract region.

What's in it for you?

  • Opportunity to work on a prestigious defence-related facilities management contract.
  • Career development, training and progression opportunities within a leading UK facilities management company.
