Mitie is recruiting Security Officers to join our team at a brand-new HMRC site in Telford.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile government contract, helping to protect people, property, and critical public services. You'll be part of a professional security team responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day security operation of this prestigious government site.
Working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern covering both days and nights, you'll provide a visible security presence, carry out patrols, monitor site activity, manage access control, and respond to incidents while ensuring the highest standards of professionalism at all times.
No two shifts are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a team.
This role requires successful candidates to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) Clearance.
To be eligible for SC Clearance, applicants will typically need to have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 5 years, alongside meeting other government vetting requirements.
