Hours: Day 07:00–19:00 | Night 19:00–07:00
Mitie is recruiting a professional and customer-focused Security Officer for a prestigious corporate building in the heart of Manchester's Spinningfields. This is a front-of-house security role combining safety, service, and professionalism in a high-profile environment.
Control access and manage reception security points.
Conduct internal and external patrols.
Monitor CCTV and support Control Room operations (where licensed).
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
Deliver a concierge-style welcome to tenants and visitors.
Manage visitor passes and reception presentation.
Complete security records and daily logs.
Support car park and building safety checks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
Calm and confident under pressure.
Professional appearance and reliability.
Basic IT skills (email, Word, Excel).
Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor).
Valid SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence.
Willingness to complete Mitie training and follow site procedures.
