Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 27 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 09:00
Saturday: 07:00 – 19:00
We are looking for a committed and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Bull Farm Primary Care Centre. In this vital role, you'll ensure the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and property by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring activity, and acting swiftly and professionally when required.
This is a key position where your presence makes a real difference to the comfort and security of the community every day.
Monitor access to the site and ensure only authorised personnel are on the premises.
Deter and respond to potential security risks and incidents, including theft, trespass, or suspicious behaviour.
Liaise with emergency services and internal contacts when needed.
Complete clear, accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities.
Perform regular patrols in accordance with site Assignment Instructions (AI's).
Ensure compliance with legal, health & safety, and security procedures.
Use CCTV and other surveillance systems as required.
Maintain a professional presence while dealing calmly and confidently with the public.
Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
Previous experience in a security role, ideally in a healthcare or public-facing environment.
Excellent awareness, attention to detail, and ability to stay alert during early shifts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CCTV PSS Licence and SC Clearance are desirable (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to remain calm, respectful, and professional under pressure.
A proactive, methodical approach and willingness to undertake further training.
