The purpose of a Mobile Response Officer is to protect the BBC property, people and / or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes. Conducting internal / external patrols and responding to any emergency that requires security attendance to ensure we meet and / or exceed the Key Performance Indicators of the client through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the efficient running and retention of the contract. |
Main Duties

· To respond to all incidents within BBC W1 Campus and follow escalation procedures. · Able to remain active for an extended period. · Conducting internal and external patrols with prescribed patrolling equipment. · Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure. · Able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own. · Able to identify a pre-emptive attack, negate or evade threats or intimidation of VIP with tact / diplomacy with strong security knowledge and training. · Able to complete a full planning assessment for access and exit route for VIP / VVIP visitation to the BBC building. · Able to conduct dynamic risk assessments. · To have a thorough knowledge of routine and emergency procedures and be able to respond efficiently, and appropriately, in any eventuality. · Ability to deliver a clear and concise incident report. · Ensuring incidents are reported in a timely and accurate manner. · To respond to all incidents and follow escalation procedures. · To be aware of Hostile Reconnaissance techniques that may be employed against the BBC buildings or occupants therein and to be always vigilant. · Following company dress code always maintaining a high standard. · Use safe working practices in line with company risk assessments and assignment instructions. · Completion of varied patrol patterns, for internal and external areas as directed by the Mobile Response Team Leader. · Effectively communicate with the LSOC. · Any other security duties directed by the business or client that falls within your level of training and licensing. · Ability to identify and utilise the Behavioural Detection Techniques. · Building on relationships between the community businesses. · Liaising with the local police, organising events for crime prevention. · Carry out all other reasonable management requests.
