Are you ready to take the next step in your QHSE career? Look no further!

We are seeking a dynamic QHSE Manager who is ready to make a real difference! You'll be the driving force behind ensuring our operations at RAF Mildenhall are conducted safely and efficiently, and you'll be the go-to person for expert QHSE support. Get ready to dive into a role that involves implementing an integrated business management system, leading on audit and assurance requirements, and supporting the QHSE function across our entire Group. You'll be at the forefront of identifying and minimising risks related to accidents and implementing strategies to reduce risk.

You'll be the key player in managing all QHSE documentation related to potential or actual insurance claims and producing QHSE reports. You'll also have the chance to collaborate with the QHSE team to develop strategies that align with our objectives. In addition to this, you will be responsible for representing the QHSE agenda in regional and national meetings and establishing Regional QHSE forums for employee engagement and communication. You'll also liaise with relevant enforcing authorities when required and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of legislation and codes of practice. As part of your role, you'll be required to develop an understanding of the Mitie Intranet for accessing relevant documentation and participate in performance appraisals to work toward personal improvement and development plans.

You'll need strong written English and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Word and Excel, and SC Clearance. A NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 Health and Safety qualification is a must-have. Additional qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire and fire risk assessment qualifications will be advantageous.

Experience in industrial work and work at heights, particularly in the Integrated Facilities Management sector, is a big plus. Being a Grad IOSH or above, holding a full UK driving licence, and having experience with multi-site, multi-discipline organisations are also essential. Detailed knowledge of risk assessment and management, the ability to work in a commercial, client-facing environment, and proficiency in managing meetings and delivering training on various subjects are key to being successful in your application.

If you are ready to take on this thrilling opportunity and make a real impact, join our team and deliver the exceptional, every day.
