QHSE Advisor

Location: Bromsgrove | Department: QHSE
Reports to: QHSE Lead | Type: Full-time

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive QHSE Advisor to support health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across our operations. You'll work closely with project teams and subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

This role involves regular site visits, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Support safe and compliant project delivery across all sites.
  • Provide practical QHSE guidance to managers and site teams.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Develop and review RAMS, COSHH assessments, and Construction Phase Plans.
  • Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Lead safety forums and contribute to behavioural safety initiatives.
  • Assist with CDM compliance and external audit preparation.
  • Deliver safety communications and identify training needs.

 

What You'll Need

  • Experience in utilities or construction.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and experience advising duty holders.
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Certificate (or equivalent); IOSH Tech Membership preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away when needed, however flexibility is offered if needed.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
