The Project Coordinator is a key member of the project team, responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a project are well-organized, efficiently managed, and progressing according to plan. This role involves providing essential administrative support by managing documentation, tracking project progress, maintaining spreadsheets, and preparing reports. The coordinator plays a central role in resource management, helping to allocate resources effectively, coordinate team schedules, and ensure that all team members have the tools and information they need to complete their tasks.
Communication is a vital part of this role, as the Project Coordinator acts as a bridge between the project manager, team members, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring that everyone remains informed and aligned. The coordinator also assists with planning and scheduling project activities, helping to develop timelines and monitor milestones. In addition, they support budget preparation and keep a close eye on project expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
Risk management is another important responsibility, involving the identification of potential issues and the development of strategies to mitigate them. The Project Coordinator also contributes to quality control by ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards. When challenges arise, the coordinator is expected to take a proactive approach to problem-solving, helping to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a project coordination or similar role, who possesses strong communication skills and the ability to perform well under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a proactive attitude and a broad skill set that enables them to support the successful delivery of projects. Health and Safety qualifications are also desirable.
