We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance / Air Conditioning Engineer – Competent Person to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring statutory compliance and safe operation of electrical and mechanical building services.
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and associated building systems in line with contractual requirements, service level agreements, and agreed timescales, ensuring accurate completion of work order documentation via PDA systems.
Undertake electrical testing, inspection, fault finding and repairs, ensuring full compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671), Part P Building Regulations, and all relevant statutory and safety standards.
Service, maintain, and fault find HVAC systems including VRV/VRF systems, split units, AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems, pumps, pressure sets, and associated controls, ensuring systems operate efficiently and within design parameters.
Carry out Building Management System (BMS) fault finding, F-Gas compliance inspections, water hygiene (L8) tasks, and act as an Authorised Person (AP) for electrical and mechanical works where required, ensuring safe system operation and adherence to Permit to Work procedures.
Liaise effectively with clients, site managers, contractors, and colleagues, providing technical support, sharing best practices, and maintaining high standards of health & safety, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
