ROLE: Shift (M&E) Technician

HOURS: 42 hours per week | Continental Shift Pattern
LOCATION: SE1 9SG

We're looking for a Shift (M&E) Technician who will operate, maintain, and support critical mechanical and electrical systems within a high‑security, high‑performance data centre environment.

Role Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems.
Diagnose faults and restore critical services quickly and safely.
Monitor and interpret Building Management Systems (BMS) to maintain optimal site performance.
Supervise contractors and ensure all works comply with health & safety standards and permit-to-work processes.
Support the operation of key systems including UPS, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role.

Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
At least 3 years' experience working within a commercial M&E environment.
Strong technical knowledge of BMS, UPS, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits.
Eligible to obtain and maintain high-level security clearance.
Must hold a valid, clean UK driving licence.
