We're looking for a Maintenance / M&E Technician who will ensure the safe, compliant and efficient operation of all building mechanical and electrical systems across the site.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, responding to faults and breakdowns promptly.
• Conduct regular safety checks (e.g., fire safety systems, emergency lighting) and ensure compliance with all health & safety standards.
• Install new equipment, assist with system setup, and carry out minor fabric repairs where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventories and documentation, reporting issues to the Shift Lead Engineer.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, facilities teams and contractors, following maintenance schedules and prioritising tasks effectively.
Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualifications in Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installations.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in similar environments, with strong knowledge of tools, equipment and safe working practices.
• Valid UK driving licence and clean driving record.
