Mobile and Static Support Security officer
We are seeking a highly capable and dependable Mobile and Static Support Security Officer to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of a site in Hull. This position is critical to maintaining consistent security and operational standards. It requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Respond promptly and accurately to any incidents, ensuring detailed reporting and swift action to address any security concerns.
- Site Patrols: Conduct regular patrols across designated areas of the site, maintaining heightened security awareness and ensuring compliance with required Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Mobile Security Coverage: Operate as a mobile officer when required, providing flexible and reliable security coverage and ensuring seamless oversight across different site locations.
- Communication: Establish effective communication with site personnel, clients, or visitors, ensuring smooth interactions in both routine and emergency situations.
Key Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be aged 21 or over due to insurance purposes.
- Full Clean UK Manual Driver's Licence: A valid driver's licence is essential to fulfil the mobile element of the role, with at least one year of practical driving experience.
- Attention to Detail:Exceptional observational skills and the ability to identify irregularities accurately and act upon them effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with interpersonal skills to interact professionally in various settings.
-Adaptability: Must possess a flexible attitude and be willing to adjust to the evolving operational requirements and challenges of the role.
- Professionalism: Be dependable, punctual, and committed to upholding the integrity of the role.
Working Pattern:
- Day shifts: 05:00 – 17:00
- Night shifts: 17:00 – 05:00
- Pay rate is £12.71 to £12.75
This dual-role position offers the opportunity to operate in both mobile and static capacities, providing a dynamic and varied working environment.
Desirable Attributes:
- Prior experience in the security industry or related field.
- Familiarity with security systems, such as CCTV and access control, is advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
