ROLE: Mobile Fabric Supervisor
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
LOCATION: Glasgow - Covering Southern  Scotland - Central Belt area.

We're looking for an Mobile Fabric Supervisor who will deliver on our Lowland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association (LRFCA) contract, ensuring work schedules are effectively managed and key performance indicators are consistently achieved.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and manage reactive maintenance callouts across the contract
  • Monitor Supply Chain work team to ensure suitably qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks and ensure that all operatives have appropriate equipment and skills to perform relevant tasks
  • Monitor Supply Chain service delivery, quality and safe working to ensure all performance KPI's indicators are consistently achieved
  • Proactively inspect buildings (largely desk-based role, approximately 80%) to identify potential maintenance requirements and ensure timely action is taken
  • Take responsibility for building fabric elements including plumbing, carpentry, decorating and painting works where required
  • Update and respond to audits and maintain a good understanding of the MAXIMO application and relevant processes and procedures
  • Develop strong working relationships with LRFCA management teams and end users to support site activities and provide technical advice

 

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

  • NVQ level qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or 17th or 18th edition- Desirable
  • Management level qualification in Health & Safety and Environment (e.g. SMSTS)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within Facilities Management
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Legionella and/or Asbestos management plans
