ROLE: M&E Engineer (Hybrid Mobile)
HOURS: Full Time
LOCATION: Greater London (Hybrid)

We're looking for an M&E Engineer who will support one of our flagship accounts, covering the Greater London region including North East London/Essex borders, South London, and Kent.


Role Responsibilities:

(4–5 points required – full duties retained in structured form)

  • Carry out routine PPM, Planned Maintenance, Reactive tasks and Electrical Installation work in line with scheduled dates.
  • Support the operational strategy for critical services across Vodafone fixed-line sites, ensuring compliance and high operational performance for M&E, general maintenance and soft services.
  • Undertake basic maintenance tasks including UPS systems, batteries, generators, data centre equipment, and switchgear operations.
  • Complete frontline engineering tasks, site supervision duties, and maintain high levels of Health & Safety and Statutory compliance.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time, and participate in the on‑call rota while collaborating closely with other mobile engineers.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

  • Experience working in a commercial or critical environment, with an understanding of data centre operations.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Qualification (2391 Inspection & Testing desirable).
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong compliance standards and high‑quality engineering delivery.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training to develop skills relevant to critical data centre environments.
