ROLE: M&E Engineer (Hybrid Mobile)
HOURS: Full Time
LOCATION: Greater London (Hybrid)

We're looking for an M&E Engineer who will support one of our flagship accounts, covering the Greater London region including North East London/Essex borders, South London, and Kent.

Role Responsibilities:

(4–5 points required – full duties retained in structured form)

Carry out routine PPM, Planned Maintenance, Reactive tasks and Electrical Installation work in line with scheduled dates.
Support the operational strategy for critical services across Vodafone fixed-line sites, ensuring compliance and high operational performance for M&E, general maintenance and soft services.
Undertake basic maintenance tasks including UPS systems, batteries, generators, data centre equipment, and switchgear operations.
Complete frontline engineering tasks, site supervision duties, and maintain high levels of Health & Safety and Statutory compliance.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time, and participate in the on‑call rota while collaborating closely with other mobile engineers.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

Experience working in a commercial or critical environment, with an understanding of data centre operations.
City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Qualification (2391 Inspection & Testing desirable).
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong compliance standards and high‑quality engineering delivery.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Willingness to undertake additional training to develop skills relevant to critical data centre environments.
