Mobile Cleaning Supervisor

Monday to Friday, 7.30am-4pm (30 mins unpaid break)

Pay: £30,000 per annum (but paid hourly)

Location: Multiple Sites across London (London Fire Brigade contract)

Essential: Clean UK Driving Licence (You will also need to complete a DBS check before joining)

Job Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to work at a range of sites on the London Fire Brigade contract in the London Area. You willl be supervising a cleaning team of 11, ensuring that our excellent service standards for the delivery of planned and periodic cleaning is upheld.

You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. You will distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials and order stocks as necessary. You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate. 

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience. They will have good communication skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative. 

You will be also required to be hands-on in the cleaning operations for any adhoc work as well as covering sickness/holiday as required by the business.

Experience working with cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals is desirable, however full training on COSHH will be carried out. The ideal candidate will have experience working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines, and understand the organisational goals and objectives, whilst demonstrating forward thinking and a positive can-do attitude. 

A strong standard of numeracy and literacy skills and an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office will also be required for the role, as well as competency using IT equipment.
