Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 

Working Hours: 40 Hours per week  

Contract: Full time | Permanent position 

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain and repair air conditioning equipment, including split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You will also work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck units, and ice machines. This role offers the chance to work with leading manufacturers like Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG, and involves troubleshooting and seeking technical support autonomously. Accurate documentation and timely completion of work-related logs are essential. 

This position exists to ensure the reliable operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across various sites. Your expertise will help maintain optimal performance and efficiency, contributing to our reputation for excellence. 

 

Responsibilities:  

As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You will work with various manufacturers, troubleshoot issues, and seek technical support autonomously. Additionally, you will complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, participate in an On-Call rota, and perform manual tasks such as handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces. Good communication skills and the ability to use a PDA are essential. 

 

Requirements:  

  • Full current driving licence and willingness to participate in an On-Call rota. 
  • Relevant qualifications such as FGAS & ODS regs, C&G Level 3/NVQ or equivalent. 
  • Experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment. 
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA).
