The IS Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects with an annual total budget of up to £2m and is expected to be based out of one of Mities delivery Centres (Shard, Northampton, Birmingham, Manchester although other locations will be considered).
Reporting to the Head of Programmes and Projects, the role requires taking plan inputs from all stakeholders, they will create and maintain robust end to end Project Plans, managing project stakeholders, reporting progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and finances. They will also ensure that their projects adhere to the IS delivery framework and governance standards.
The IS Senior Project Manager will make project interventions as required to address and manage delivery risks,issues and project dependencies, ensuring that the right teams are engaged and accountable. They will communicate and influence key stakeholders while supporting the IS strategy.
The Successful candidate requires an aptitude to embrace AI capabilities to enhance productivity. It requires a unique blend of technical acumen in the Software Development lifecycle including Operations, strategic thinking, and adaptability. The role necessitates extensive leadership experience and stakeholder management skills to ensure accountability within all parties involved in the project. They will collaborate with the business and IS delivery/assurance teams (including 3rd party service providers) to ensure that their projects are aligned with the IS and business strategy and are setup and tracked through to successful outcomes.
