This is a 6 - 12 Months FTCwith flexible working available. We are looking for a HR Manager who can build capability of the line managers through effective training and coaching in managing people, ensuring to enable a high-quality professional guidance on all types of HR issues, people policies, and formal processes.
Whilst this role is full time, we are willing to consider part time or job share, please include this in your application, including the type of working pattern/hours you would prefer.
The ideal candidate should be confident and have upbeat leadership, and also have the ability to work under pressure in a calm, positive way. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to express their thoughts clearly, whether written or spoken and also have a level of empathy for their people, their clients and their service users.
Main duties include building strong relationships with management and the Local Authorities. As well as be able to provide sound counsel to management in relation to all people issues and strategies for the account. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organisation on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organisation's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. The candidate must also ensure identified service levels of delivery across all parts of HR (talent acquisition, learning and development, reward, employee relations) are met and that key performance indicators are put in place and achieved consistent with the principles of continuous improvement. Supporting with ER cases and coaching and influencing all Managers to ensure that decisions are in line with Mitie policies and procedure will be a crucial part of this role.
