ROLE: Contractor Escort
HOURS: 40 hours a week
LOCATION: HMP Millsike

We're looking for a Contractor Escort who will act as a key point of contact for contractors and service engineers working within the prison. You will ensure their safe access, supervise them during their time on-site, and maintain strict security standards at all times.

Role Responsibilities:

• Verify contractor ID, assist with check-in, and ensure all documentation is compliant.
• Conduct searches and confiscate prohibited items in line with security procedures.
• Perform tool and equipment checks to ensure all items remain accounted for.
• Escort contractors and visitors to maintain safety and security across the site.
• Handle, search, and log incoming deliveries to prevent contraband risks.
• Support the onsite Stores team to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
• Receive, receipt and store incoming materials.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure accurate data and record-keeping.
• Ensure the safe and secure storage of all store assets, including pump trucks, forklifts and electric vehicles, as well as contractor materials, with up-to-date COSHH documentation maintained. Additionally, oversee the cleanliness and consistent supply of all satellite stores across the site.
