ROLE: Healthcare Project Manager
LOCATION: Liverpool
CONTRACT: Full Time

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Healthcare Project Manager to join our team at a prestigious hospital in Liverpool. This is a key role within a complex healthcare environment, requiring a strong understanding of Pre-Construction Project work plus an awareness of Commercial Contracts. You will have the ability to deliver both Lifecycle and Variation works to the highest standards within facilities management.
For the successful Healthcare Project Manager, our programme of work is entering an exciting 'new design & build phase' so it's essential that you are highly experienced in the 'Pre-Construction' elements of your trade.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of lifecycle and variation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and fully compliant with HTM, HBN, CDM, and BSA 2022 requirements.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive pre-construction project plans across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and training phases.
  • Coordinate asset surveys, contractor activities, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless FM service delivery.
  • Provide robust financial management and reporting, including budget tracking, reconciliations, and management information to support decision-making.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance, supporting ISO 14001 initiatives and ensuring accurate documentation, including O&M manuals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience delivering Lifecycle and Variation projects within Healthcare environments, including full MEP project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of key regulations and frameworks including CDM 2015, HTM, HBN, RIBA stages, and the Building Safety Act (BSA).
  • Proven capability managing projects within high-risk buildings, ensuring full compliance with BSA requirements.
  • If you have a contractual awareness within PFI then this will be highly advantageous, however it is NOT essential for the right candidate,
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Collaborative and forward-thinking approach, demonstrating innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability in project delivery.
  • Be able to confidently showcase your pre-construction PM skills via the recruitment screen call and then follow up with a short written statement which will be presented to the client.
