ROLE: Fire Risk Assessor

We're looking for a Fire Risk Assessor to carry out suitable fire risk assessments on behalf of our clients across a wide variety of sites, supporting the delivery of exceptional service every day.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out suitable fire risk assessments in accordance with relevant legislation across industrial, commercial, and residential sites
• Conduct site-based inspections within specified timescales, delivering high-quality, comprehensive FRA reports suitable for client needs
• Complete fire risk assessments using an app on a tablet or mobile device and co‑ordinate assessment data through to report completion
• Communicate regularly with the back-office team to manage workload efficiently and meet agreed timescales
• Act as a representative of Mitie on client sites, delivering a professional and customer-focused service
• Travel extensively throughout the UK, staying away from home as required

Required Qualifications

• NEBOSH Fire Certificate (full) or other recognised fire qualification, with evidence of experience, knowledge, and competency in fire risk assessments
• Proven track record of producing high-quality, detailed fire risk assessment reports
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• A can-do, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, without direct supervision
• Ability to conduct surveys across client sites and deal directly with customers in a professional manner
