Facilities Co-ordinator

We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator to be the key point of contact for facilities operations on site, supporting colleagues, contractors and visitors while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and service delivery.

As the eyes and ears of the workplace, you'll work closely with multiple Mitie teams to identify improvements, coordinate facilities activities, manage site compliance requirements and help create a safe, welcoming and efficient environment for everyone.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all on-site facilities requests, supporting colleagues with both hard and soft services issues.
• Coordinate site compliance activities, including inductions, contractor management, RAMS reviews, audits, safety checks and remedial action tracking.
• Support health and safety compliance by managing first aid, fire warden requirements, fire drills, COSHH documentation and QHSE communications.
• Monitor planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and fully evidenced.
• Maintain site records, logbooks and compliance documentation while supporting client visits, audits and operational improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within Facilities Management, Workplace Experience, Building Management or a similar facilities-based role.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, compliance processes and contractor management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams.
• A proactive and organised approach with the confidence to take ownership of site issues and drive resolutions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
