Employee Relations Advisor – Talent Pool

Location: Birmingham (hybrid – typically 1-2 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full time - 40 hours a week

What future roles could involve:

Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters, providing clear, pragmatic advice aligned to employment law and best practice
Coaching and empowering line managers to confidently manage ER cases while balancing risk and commercial outcomes
Partnering with HR colleagues and senior stakeholders across the business
Supporting ER policy and process reviews, contributing to continuous improvement
Working collaboratively with Legal and Occupational Health teams on complex cases, including Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal matters

What we're looking for:

HR or ER professionals with a strong working knowledge of employee relations policy and UK employment law
Experience managing ER cases and delivering sound, solution‑focused advice
A people‑centred approach, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
Experience within a HR Shared Service Centre environment (desirable)
CIPD qualification at Level 3, 5 or 7 (desirable – study support available)
