Hours: Full time - 40 hours a week

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're building a talent pool of Employee Relations Advisors to support our continued growth, and we'd love to hear from ER professionals who want to be part of Mitie's future and help shape a fair, supportive and high‑performing workplace.

This is not a live vacancy, but an opportunity to register your interest and be considered for future Employee Relations opportunities as they arise.

What future roles could involve:

  • Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters, providing clear, pragmatic advice aligned to employment law and best practice
  • Coaching and empowering line managers to confidently manage ER cases while balancing risk and commercial outcomes
  • Partnering with HR colleagues and senior stakeholders across the business
  • Supporting ER policy and process reviews, contributing to continuous improvement
  • Working collaboratively with Legal and Occupational Health teams on complex cases, including Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal matters

What we're looking for:

  • HR or ER professionals with a strong working knowledge of employee relations policy and UK employment law
  • Experience managing ER cases and delivering sound, solution‑focused advice
  • A people‑centred approach, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Experience within a HR Shared Service Centre environment (desirable)
  • CIPD qualification at Level 3, 5 or 7 (desirable – study support available)

Why join our Employee Relations Talent Pool?

  • Be considered first for future ER opportunities across Mitie
  • Join a growing, specialist ER community with exposure to diverse sectors and contracts
  • Benefit from flexible, hybrid working that supports work–life balance
  • Access development, learning and career progression within one of the UK's leading employers
