We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and work alongside a range of Mitie clients completing electrical safety checks, planned maintenance and reactive works.
You must be able to complete your tasks to high levels of health and safety, apprehend and be able to complete jobs to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
You should have a full, current, driving licence, be IT literate for record keeping, have good customer service skills, be physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDED BUT ARE NOT LMITED TO:
To ensure a high quality service
Ability to manage workload and recognise how to prioritise your daily schedule
To follow and complete all task related documentation accurately and on time
To grasp and comply with policies and procedures
To carry out tasks in a safe and diligent manner
To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal meetings as required
To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
A self-managing approach to work with a strong Health and Safety attitude
Daily tasks that could include but not limited to lighting repairs, electrical testing, small power remedial works, distribution board and switch board maintenance or repairs
To carry out any reasonable task as instructed by the Operations Manager
The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar, and be qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition.
