We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to work with a prestigious Mitie client to deliver comprehensive and high quality maintenance works to their various sites across the North West.

You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. 

This will include:

Delivery of weekly, monthly and annual PPMs across various sites.

Small quoted works from initial costing to completion.

Quick response to high priority reactive works and faults. This will not be restricted to electrical works only.

Completion of paperwork and statutory documentation to a high standard.

Good I.T. skills, able to use the company job system via a PDA smartphone.

You must have a full and current U.K. driving licence, a current and valid UK passport and be able to pass an enhanced security clearance process from the government. This will include having to provide a full 5 year work history and proof of official residence. 

Ideally, the preferred candidate will have 18th Edition qualification along side previous experience in a commercial FM environment. NVQ L3 electrical installation ideal but not essential. A working knowledge of all building control systems (BMS, lighting systems, door control systems) advantageous.

The individual chosen will need to be professional, courteous and well presented.
