  • Support project delivery and reactive works across both Swanwick and Whiteley sites.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting of works undertaken.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and NATS stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Be available to undertake out-of-hours works where project requirements demand; such works will be reimbursed in line with company policy.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / AM2 / 18th Edition or equivalent).
  • Experience in data installations, including patching, racking, and structured cabling.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance.

Desirable:

  • City & Guilds 2391 (Test & Inspection) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment.
  • Existing SC clearance.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety practices, including risk assessments and method statements.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple sites.

Additional Information

  • The role will involve working at both Swanwick and Whiteley sites, with some travel between locations.
  • Applicants must either already hold SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo the necessary checks.
  • Out-of-hours working may be required depending on project requirements, and will be reimbursed accordingly.
