We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer who is electrically biased to work on Mitie's NHS blood account carrying out electrical safety checks, planned and reactive maintenance and repairs. The required candidate will report directly to the contracts manager and be the first response to our client to assist in all issues arising, they will be repsonsible for maintaining SLA performance throughout the region by reviewing daily reports set up from the CAFM system, attend client faced meetings where applicable and also assist in the day to day duties of the other engineers.
You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
You should have a full, current, driving licence, be IT literate for record keeping, have good customer service skills, be physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar, and be qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds 2330 or equivalent. Hold a NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition. 2391 test and inspection is a benefit.
