We are currently recruiting for a Control Room Operator. The Operator will conduct regular camera patrols, respond to Help Desk jobs (unlocks, emptying confidential bins etc.), cover positions on the floor when required, conduct external patrols if required, check passes, have knowledge of the building and its occupants, have a good knowledge of the Assignment Instructions, monitor alarms in the Control Room and know how to respond to them and assist the Control Room Deputy Operations Manager/Operations Manager with any other Control Room duties. General duties such as signing keys in/out, answering the telephone and dealing with queries and issuing radios will also form part of the role.
The above description of the role is not exhaustive, and other duties may be required as deemed necessary.
Please note, you will need to have passed a communication assessment prior to commencing work in the Control Room along with Critical Incident Management training.
