Job Title: Cleaning Team Leader
Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.10

Shift Pattern: 8PM to 6AM
Location: BAE Systems, 1066 Govan Road, Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland, G51 4XP
In this role, the focus is on delivering exceptional cleaning services in line with Mitie's high standards and service level agreements (SLAs). The individual will lead a team to ensure planned and periodic cleaning tasks are executed efficiently, proactively, and cost-effectively. They will set clear objectives, manage resources effectively, and take ownership of quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) responsibilities. Strong communication is key, as the role requires motivating and engaging team members across various levels. Performance management, career development, and succession planning are vital, alongside the implementation of engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment. The manager will use internal HR tools to support effective people management, oversee payroll and absence processes, and ensure minimal disruption to services. With expertise in soft services and proficiency in technology and Microsoft Office, they will maintain confidentiality, meet operational deadlines, and align their team with Mitie's values and goals. Key attributes include strong decision-making, calmness under pressure, financial acumen, and a results-driven approach. The ideal candidate is a confident leader, capable of inspiring a diverse team, upholding professionalism, and representing both Mitie and its clients to the highest standard in every aspect of service delivery.
