You'll be a visible, hands‑on leader—confident working both independently and as part of a wider security and operations team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

  • Maintain excellent presentation and cleanliness standards across the site.
  • Deploy resources effectively to meet customer, operational and financial KPIs.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the car park machinery and infrastructure through planned PPM and ensuring safe areas of work are available for contractors and members of the public.

Customer Service

  • Provide outstanding service and guidance to customers using the car park.
  • Resolve customer complaints, issues and enquiries promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Use ANPR and Skidata systems to assist with queries and protect revenue.

Compliance & Health & Safety

  • Monitor site conditions to ensure compliance with all safety standards.
  • Report hazards or incidents immediately and accurately.
  • Understand and uphold emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Carry out regular recording of incidents and data via computer, CCTV and smartphone systems.

Reporting & Communication

  • Complete weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Duty Manager, Security Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Provide detailed customer feedback summaries and follow up on local issues.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a service, retail, shopping centre or parking environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and influence.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • SIA CCTV Licence.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual tasks (cones, barriers, snow equipment etc.).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Skidata parking systems.
  • Driving licence (preferred; full UK licence required for roles involving driving).
  • IOSH or Level 2/3 Health & Safety qualification.

Eligibility checks (if driving forms part of the role):

  • Aged 21+
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No motoring disqualifications in the last 5 years
  • Subject to a basic DBS check and satisfactory references
