Main Purpose of Role |
To actively promote the company throughout the HV Private Networks sector across the UK. Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers including industrial, commercial, hospital trusts, renewables, education, food production, retail, agriculture etc. to improve the company's position in the marketplace as well as to generate profitable growth.
The Business Development Manager will lead and build key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals.
The primary role is to identify new business opportunities that fit within the strategic development of the business and secure the work in alignment with Private Networks targets.
They must, where possible, build relationships with customers with a view to securing O&M contracts and additional works such as transformer & switchgear replacements, remedials and ICP projects.
Strategic planning is a must when targeting potential customers to do business with.
The Business Development Manager must obtain a thorough knowledge of the HV Private Networks market as well as to understand fully the company's full range of skills and experience.
Identify potential clients and the decision makers within that business through research or industry knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience |
1. A good sales background is essential as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. 2. To be highly motivated and self-driven to achieve challenging targets. 3. To be well organised to manage time and priorities effectively to achieve deadlines. 4. Good IT skills including report writing. 5. Be able to demonstrate impeccable ethical and moral behaviour, coupled with unquestionable integrity and character. |
