At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an Asset Collection Manager to lead and develop our asset collection function, driving high-quality data delivery across complex projects and supporting business-wide asset management objectives.

In this role, you'll oversee the end-to-end asset collection lifecycle, working collaboratively with internal teams, clients and third-party providers to ensure consistent, compliant and efficient project delivery.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the asset collection team, ensuring delivery against project timelines and quality standards
  • Provide technical support and asset management expertise to operational teams and key stakeholders
  • Oversee project proposals, scopes, delivery and reporting, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
  • Manage third-party survey companies and surveyors, ensuring performance, compliance and quality of output
  • Monitor and improve data quality, including audit processes, and ensure effective use of systems such as Maximo and MiAssets
  • Maintain and develop the project pipeline, supporting planning, scheduling and resource allocation
  • Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements
  • Support asset lifecycle management and integration into CAFM systems, enabling effective long-term maintenance strategies

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in asset collection and management within a projects-based environment
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and multiple workstreams
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work at pace
  • Experience with CAFM systems (e.g. Maximo) and data/reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Solid understanding of compliance, asset management principles and maintenance operations
  • Highly organised, proactive and solution-focused, with a positive and flexible approach

What's In It For You

  • Opportunity to lead a high-impact function within a growing and dynamic business
  • Ongoing professional development and training, including support for relevant qualifications
  • Exposure to complex, high-profile projects and key client relationships
