Operate heavy plant machinery as required in a professional and safe manner.
Carry out any road transport duties as instructed.
Operate Mobile Working at height equipment, MEWP's.
Assist in the day to day running of the landfill site.
Assist in any repairs and maintenance to the Core Plant fleet as required.
Ensure all Core Plant vehicles and equipment cabs are clean and tidy.
Ensure all work areas are clean , tidy and in kept in a safe condition.
All works/projects that are under your responsibility are carried out in accordance with mitre and MOD policy
and processes.
Ensure all works and work orders are completed accurately, making sure the correct work order number is
entered, all overtime is sanctioned and work orders are submitted before the deadline.
Produce a quality end product first time with no rework required.
Carry out quarrying activities as required.
Carry out any other duties as directed by your line Manager the Management team.
Main Duties
Operate plant machinery and MEWP's in a professional and safe manner.
Driving duties not limited to LGV and HGV.
House keeping on vehicles, plant equipment and areas of responsibility.
Reporting any faults or incidents to your line Management.
Quarry activities as required.
Ensure all qualifications are current and in date.
Carry out all tasks as instructed by the Plant & Transport Supervisor.
Secondary Duties
Assisting other departments as required.
Hold heavy goods licence C+E ( Desirable) C Licence (Essential).
Hold or working towards quarry passport.
Hold or working towards a Plant Operator Card or equivalent.
Proven knowledge of general Plant & Transport or Construction Industry.
Ability to work on own initative or as part of a team.
Previous experience working in the Falklands or working abroad ( Desirable).
