Role: Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer - Mechanical Biased
Hours: 40 Hrs

We're looking for a Multi‑Skilled Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical Bias) who will undertake planned and reactive mechanical maintenance works, operating within a shift team to ensure continuous service delivery.

Role Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across a wide range of building services plant and equipment.
Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and complete corrective works efficiently and safely.
Monitor, record, and report plant performance, defects, and maintenance activities using the CAFM system.
Work collaboratively within a shift team to meet client SLAs and KPIs while maintaining high professional standards.
Ensure all works are completed in compliance with Mitie Engineering Services policies, health & safety requirements, and safe systems of work.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

Recognised mechanical apprenticeship with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of three years post‑apprenticeship experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of building services systems including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and heating systems.
Proven experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial or critical environments.
